All of our little helpers ripped down the first layer of wall paper. Man that is a huge wall. And a big mess from Christmas! We had 8 kids and 6 adults her for a couple of days with lots of wrappings and food so it was bound to look a little crazy.

With new house comes new projects. Our house is great but it was a model home and the person who designed it liked yellow...alot! So we have yellow wallpaper in 7 rooms of the house some worse then others. So the day after Christmas with Mark and his family still here the guys started by ripping down the 10ft long shelf off the wall. Then came the ripping and scrapping of wall paper. With trial of the "best product" on the market and some great suggestions from a friend we got one wall of wallpaper down. The kitchen is next on the wallpaper removal list then on to the bathrooms. Once the wallpaper is down we are having someone come in to texture the walls. We have lots of paint swatches taped to the wall to help us pick out just the right color. I can't wait till I can start hanging pictures on the wall.
